What You Will Do:

As a Finance Director within L'Oréal's Professional Products Division (PPD), you will play a crucial role in the financial planning, reporting, and analysis across all brands within the portfolio. This high-visibility leadership role is dedicated to optimizing Media, Digital & Traditional Marketing investments, requiring strong collaboration with various internal teams and stakeholders. Acting as the primary financial partner for the VP’s of Marketing/Digital and the PPD CDMO, you will ensure there is strong financial collaboration. You will lead a team who each manage the day-to-day operations across all PPD brands for digital, media and marketing. The team will also have a transversal focus overseeing Total A&P spend Redken, Pureology, Matrix, Biolage & Pulp Riot, and will be a key partner to the brand controller and total business on multiple different projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Total Consumer Engagement & Shopper Experience Budgets total $250M across all 10 PPD Brands, identifying risks and opportunities through proactive budget management and regular business partner meetings.

  • Serve as a key business partner to PPD CDMO, PPD Digital Team & Brand VP’s of Marketing/Digital and collaborate effectively with brand controllers to optimize spend.

  • Lead NEO Implementation amongst all Digital and Marketing Teams, acting as a catalyst for the new ways of working

  • Align with VP’s of Marketing and Brand Controllers on fuel budgets across all PPD brands, encompassing Media, Brand Engagement, DDX, Ecomm & traditional Marketing expenses.

  • Oversee total Brand A&P Consolidation for Redken, Pureology, Matrix, Biolage & Pulp Riot and ensure alignment with team and Brand controller on all A&P Investments.

  • Accountability for the successful implementation of critical projects focused on optimizing divisional spending and strategic investment. This includes: BetIQ ROI analysis, marketing & influencer investment optimization, and implementation of Marketing / Digital Dashboards

  • Directly manage the PPD centralized digital marketing (CDMO) budgets and amortization analysis across the brands. Ensure strong collaboration with the brand controllers regarding CAPEX investments.

  • Consolidate Total Digital & Marketing investments for all PPD brands, providing analysis and presenting recommendations to management.

  • Lead a team and nurture young talent, through coaching and development, fostering professional growth and development to continuously improve ways of working

  • Ensure accurate expense classification according to L'Oréal Finance Norms. Track financial performance of strategic projects against the business plan.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting. Prior experience within A&P Investments is preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting.
  • Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organizational skills to meet several deadlines
  • Demonstrated business acumen and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); expert-level Excel skills required. Experience with Power BI and data visualization dashboards a plus.

Salary range: $138K-$200K
