Salesforce is a cloud-based software solution
for customer relationship management (CRM) and other business operations such
as Customer Service, customer and case management (Service Cloud). A Salesforce developer creates solutions on
the Salesforce platform.
You will be responsible for creating custom software
applications on the Salesforce platform that meet our specific requirements for
client management and other daily operations. You will also integrate
Salesforce with existing systems, ensuring data accuracy and security and
providing technical support whenever required.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in developing and customizing
Salesforce applications, as well as experience in designing and implementing
complex solutions.
Being technical experts, Developers design,
code, test, implement and maintain secure and scalable software applications,
as well as ensure the software is working efficiently.
As a Salesforce:
developer, you’ll work closely with Solution/Technical Architects, Business Analysts,
Project Managers, Quality Assurance and other teammates to ensure that
Salesforce solutions meet the organization’s business needs.
One of the major Salesforce developer skills includes a keen eye for detail and a strong execution ability – to deliver efficient software solutions for streamlining operations, on time. Thus, helping to ensure the success of a company’s sales, customer service and marketing processes through their Salesforce solutions.
What you will do:
- Develop, build, customize new and existing, secure applications optimized for performance and built to scale
- Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using LWC, Aura, Flow, Einstein Copilot, Prompt, Data Cloud, Apex, Visualforce and other technologies.
- Creating custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications.
- Write and implement efficient code.
- Test, evaluate, manage the life cycle of new programs. Ensure they are secure
- Knowledge and experience must span across systems/platforms including integrations and authentication, solutioning components that are outside of the Salesforce platform
- Well versed with Systems Integration Testing, quality assurance, UAT procedures
- Maintain and upgrade existing systems
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and deployment.
- Supporting, maintaining and improving the working of existing Salesforce applications for optimal functionality.
- Creating and maintaining integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and other developers to identify and implement improvements for the system.
- Ensuring compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform. (Emphasis on automation)
- Create technical documentation for the company, like user guides, release notes and design documents.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams to collect and document requirements for Salesforce solutions.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure that the best practices for the existing and new Salesforce solutions are implemented.
- Stay updated with new Salesforce features & functionalities and recommend best practices to enhance the existing Salesforce implementations.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- 3-6 years of demonstrable experience in software development.
- Proficient understanding of Salesforce administration, including Salesforce lightning framework, Salesforce Service Cloud, Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Significant coding experience with LWC, Aura, Apex, Einstein Copilot, Prompt, Flow, Visualforce and other Salesforce development technologies.
- Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP,APIs, o Auth & SSO
- An analytical mind, ability to learn new technologies quickly
- The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues
- Self-motivated and creative
- Good communication skills – written, verbal and presentation
- Attention to detail and follow-up
- Ability to work within an Agile and an SDLC environment (agile and more traditional development methodologies)
