Purchase to Pay Analyst

Hello, we’re L’Oréal. We're not just building brands, we're shaping how the world experiences beauty (and it takes a lot of cool jobs to do it). Intrigued? Keep reading, this might be the opportunity you've been searching for.

A Day in the Life

As a Purchase to Pay (P2P) Analyst for L'Oréal LATAM, you will be a crucial link in our financial operations, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices from receipt to payment. Based in our Mexico City Shared Services Center, you will work closely with internal departments like Procurement and external vendors to maintain strong relationships and ensure compliance with our policies.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Invoice Management: You will receive, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring all details are accurate and compliant with company and tax regulations.
  • Problem Solving: You'll investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders, and receipts by collaborating with internal teams and communicating directly with vendors to find solutions.
  • Financial Integrity: You will support month-end closing activities, assist with vendor statement reconciliations, and help maintain accurate vendor data in our ERP system.
  • Process Improvement: You will analyze data on invoice processing times and discrepancy rates to identify trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of our P2P cycle.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for a detail-oriented analyst with a proactive mindset. You are a great match if you have a strong understanding of accounting principles and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You should have:

  • Experience in an accounts payable or similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in an ERP system (like SAP) and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle discrepancies effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English is required for this role to interact with regional stakeholders.

What’s In It For You

  • A place for you to leave your comfort zone and grow beyond your potential (here, you’ll be encouraged to try new things and take risks!)
  • Real responsibility from day 1, there’s no sitting on the sidelines at L’Oréal
  • An environment where people of every ethnicity, social background, age, religion, gender and sexual orientation as well as people with disabilities are accepted, can speak up, will thrive and are celebrated!
  • A place where you can contribute to something bigger! Many of our brands have societal/environmental causes to make concrete difference.
