We are looking for an Internal Control Director for our Nordic hub based in Copenhagen!
Your mission
As our Internal Control Director for the Nordics, you will be a key strategic partner in ensuring the sustainable development of our business. Reporting to the Nordic CFO and based in our Copenhagen HQ, you will lead the implementation of the Group's Internal Control framework, enhancing process effectiveness and mitigating risks across the region.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining and managing the Internal Control roadmap and priorities in agreement with the entities' Managing Director.
- Coordinating crucial improvement projects (TOP 5, separation of duties, prevention of fraud, security of payment methods etc.).
- Partnering with business process owners to draw up simple and effective procedures that comply with local laws, Group referential, and good practices.
- Leading the self-assessment approach to comply with Group Internal Control Fundamentals (SMART toolbox).
- Guiding and supporting process owners in progressing their action plans, fostering a shared sense of ownership for improvement.
- Building strong, collaborative relationships across all departments, acting as a trusted business partner.
- Applying a rigorous and pragmatic approach, tailoring solutions that respect and enhance our existing organization and processes.
We Are Looking For
You are a strategic and pragmatic leader who can inspire change and drive excellence. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at translating complex frameworks into simple, effective solutions. We believe you're a great match if you have:
- A background in finance, accounting, or economics, ideally with a Master’s degree.
- Significant experience in finance management, internal audit, or a similar controlling role.
- Strong project and change management skills to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with fluency in English.
- A methodical approach, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively with all departments.
