When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. But that is not all. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors. How you create impact

You will focus on developing + diversifying business in line with financial + volume targets. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:

  • To own, monitor + drive all sales activities for (i.e. prepare quotation) customers within your control, ensuring prospects are identified, qualified + nurtured through the sales pipeline so as to close profitable + sustainable customer deals.
  • To align your sales efforts with Customer Care Location (CCL) Managers, Pricing + Sea Logistics Business Development teams, including pricing decisions.
  • To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing + products.
  • To report customer feedback to the CCL team, supporting resolutions as required.
  • To align with CCL colleagues when onboarding new customers.
  • To maintain + update the most relevant customer information in internal systems.
  • To regularly review customer portfolios with the CCL Managers + team.
  • To focus on customer engagement, satisfaction, retention + reactivation through high levels of service quality in close collaboration with the CCL.

What we would like you to bring

  • Minimum 2–5 years of proven experience in logistics sales, with a strong focus preferably in sea freight.
  • Solid understanding of international shipping practices, trade lanes, Incoterms, and freight forwarding operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Mandarin language skills are preferred to facilitate business but we welcome applicants who meet the core qualifications regardless of language proficiency.
