At Kuehne+Nagel Integrated Logistics, quality is a business driver. As Head of Integrated Logistics Global Quality, you will lead a global quality organization supporting primarily pharmaceutical customers, ensuring full compliance with GxP/GDP standards while building scalable, standardized and digital quality services. You will shape global quality strategy, lead a worldwide team, interact with senior stakeholders, and commercialize quality as an integrated service offering.
As Global Head of Quality, you lead a global team of approximately 25 quality professionals, including Integrated Logistics Quality Managers, Auditors and Administrators. Your mission is to establish, standardize and continuously develop global quality management services across Integrated Logistics, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical customers.
You drive the implementation of global service standards, digital quality systems (eQMS), audit frameworks, and compliance structures. You act as a senior quality authority for customers and internal stakeholders and play a key role in positioning and commercializing quality as part of integrated logistics solutions.
How you create impact
- Lead and develop the global Integrated Logistics quality organization, ensuring capabilities, structure and performance are aligned with customer, regulatory and market requirements.
- Establish, implement and continuously improve a global Quality Management System (QMS), including digitalization initiatives such as eQMS.
- Ensure full compliance of operations with GxP, GDP, ISO and customer-specific standards, acting as escalation point for critical quality topics.
- Drive global audit governance, including internal audits, customer audits and authority audits, as well as CAPA and non-conformance management.
- Define and deploy global quality service standards and best practices across customers, while supporting the commercialization of quality services.
- Act as senior quality partner to customers and internal leadership, managing quality escalations, change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Set global quality objectives and KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure transparency through structured reporting and governance.
What we would like you to bring
- Higher education in logistics, engineering, transport technology or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in quality management and leadership roles, preferably within pharmaceutical, food and/or regulated distribution environments.
- Proven expertise in GxP/GDP environments, with strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and pharmaceutical quality systems.
- Certified Quality Manager and Auditor (e.g. TÜV, Bureau Veritas, Dekra – mandatory).
- Demonstrated ability to lead global teams, drive change, and operate at senior stakeholder level.
- Strong business mindset with the ability to position quality as a service and value driver.
- Analytical, resilient, and comfortable operating under pressure in complex international environments.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
