You will be part of our Air Logistics team, adding your procurement, carrier + relationship management expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer + Operational Excellence.

How you create impact

The Air Logistics Gateway Operations Specialist is responsible for executing the operations of a local gateway. This role involves utilizing procured fixed capacity, optimizing cargo flows, and enhancing the commercial outcomes of gateway activities. Additionally, the position is accountable for meeting agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), fulfilling customer demands, procuring spot capacity when necessary, and enabling growth.

What we would like you to bring

▪ Actively involve in KNs Global Gateway network, following the Gateway standards, by sharing best practices, contribute to process enhancements, assessing internal ways of working, identify and share needed demands.
▪ Manage the utilization of procured capacity to KNs benefit in adherence with customer SLAs and our internal carrier management guidelines, procure spot capacity where needed
▪ Ensuring operations in accordance with carrier requirements, security and safety regulations.
▪ Drive efficiency by leveraging automation, standardization and GS utilization.
▪ Coordinate, plan, and execute the arrangements for outbound and inbound freight of/into the Gateway location. This includes close involvement/alignment with the local O-community for ground transportation.
▪ Collaborate closely with the global X-Community to identify and create solutions leveraging the KN network and enhancing it where needed.
▪ Ensure optimal processes and cargo flow in close collaboration with the O-team, through usage of digital solutions, education of the team and on-going reviews.
• Support and collaborate with CCL, OCC and development teams for incumbent business, implementations, as well as RFQs
