Senior Finance Manager at a Glance….

The Senior Finance Manager, Category Finance will own the FP&A, Growth, & Strategy routines and rituals for the Ore-Ida Brand. Position provides an outstanding opportunity to gain broad experience in business unit finance. Incumbent will have exposure to full P&L and will participate in BU wide projects and initiatives. This is a high-visibility role with Significant interaction with Senior Leadership team and category finance management. Opportunity to contribute analytics and provide input on key strategies and plans across the categories within the business unit.

What’s on the menu?

  • Lead the planning, forecasting, and consolidation processes in support of the BU Management Business cycle, Annual Operating Plan, Enterprise Strategy, and Brand valuation review
  • Analytical support on business results and achieving financial targets: variance analysis, demand drivers, trade spend, and commodity cost variances
  • Own the centralized BU modeling, analytics and preparation of management presentations
  • Own financial models for Innovation and Capex working cross functionally to collect all necessary inputs
  • Analytical support on Productivity initiatives and building into the financial forecast
  • Provide linkage to enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives and leverage best practices to improve, streamline and harmonize internal practices
  • Owner & project manager for all platform investment proposals and top business initiatives
  • Development and teaching of more junior team members
  • Significant ad hoc opportunities for continuous growth and learning

  • BS in Finance-Accounting, Economics, or other related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting required
  • Prior Category, Corporate FP&A, Consulting and/or BU experience preferred
  • High-level Mastery of excel is a must
  • Capable of managing with pressure and tight deadlines, above average organization, ability to work and deliver materials with minimal supervision

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$120,800.00 - $151,000.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
