The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is pivotal in advancing the firm's data and analytics capabilities, ensuring strong adherence to data & AI risk & control while enabling the data & analytics strategy for superior decision-making and business outcomes to serve our clients and markets. By leveraging data & AI/ML, the CDAO develops innovative solutions to support commercial goals, enhance productivity, and manage risks. The Asia Pacific CDAO advances the firm’s data and analytics strategy, platforms, solutions, capabilities, and governance to deliver trustworthy, responsible, innovative, and commercially value outcomes across the APAC markets and businesses.
The Head of AI Products within the Chief Data and Analytics Office for APAC will lead the development, deployment, and scaling of innovative AI-powered products that drive business value across the firm’s business lines. This role requires a leader who can inspire cross-functional teams, foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning, and ensure alignment with global data and analytics objectives. They will serve as the primary advocate for AI and advanced analytics, architecting agentic workflows, driving adoption, and ensuring the firm’s solutions remain competitive, secure, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the regional strategy, technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for Analytics and AI products, ensuring alignment with global CDAO objectives and local regional needs

Lead the end-to-end development, launch, and lifecycle management of Analytics and AI products, including traditional analytics solutions, Gen AI, and agentic AI offerings.

Oversee the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets for AI products.

Drive the development and execution of the AI adoption roadmap, identifying opportunities for product differentiation and business process optimization

Develop and integrate AI capabilities into new and existing products, leveraging modern AI toolkits and solutions.

Advance prompt engineering and agentic workflow design for robust, secure, and scalable AI interactions.

Ensure AI and analytics platforms support data sovereignty, localization, and compliance with global and regional regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and APAC-specific requirements.

Drive the adoption of advanced security and entitlement features, such as fine-grained access controls, encryption, audit logging, and secure API gateways for model and data access.

Oversee the development of self-service analytics tools, dashboards, and APIs, empowering business users and data scientists to build, deploy, and consume AI solutions efficiently.

Partner with cross-functional teams across APAC and global lines of business to drive AI adoption and product alignment.

Oversee the integration of advanced analytics engines and machine learning models into enterprise platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability

Enable comprehensive governance functionalities and features to support traditional analytics, frontier AI/Gen AI, and agentic AI workflows

Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to ensure platforms meet regulatory requirements for data privacy, protection, and auditability.

Coach and mentor the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives

Own product performance and be accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives

Establish and track key performance indicators for analytics & AI products, using insights to optimize offerings and drive growth.

Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the data platform and product teams.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

15+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications

Diverse problem-solving experience, such as extensive work experience in data strategy, product management, management consulting, internal strategy, or a related field within financial services.

Proven track record of delivering successful AI-powered products and driving AI adoption in large organizations.

Deep understanding of the product development lifecycle, technical design, data analytics, and emerging AI technologies.

Experience architecting agentic workflows and prompt engineering for scalable AI solutions.

Strong analytical skills with experience developing and tracking product metrics and KPIs.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior management and cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, drive change, and manage stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
