The Asset Management Client Skills Training team at J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management focuses on activating client-facing teams to efficiently achieve their goals, accelerate business priorities, and provide training and coaching on practices that lead to success. The team builds engaging learning programs and impactful experiences to help our teams harness the collective power of our firm at the right time.
As a Training Development & Design Specialist in the Asset Management Client Skills Training team, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and delivering a suite of training programs for our Asset Management client-facing teams in Asia Pacific. You will demonstrate interest and skill in helping professionals become more productive and trusted Advisors, contributing to the growth and success of our teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, design and deliver training content:
-
Engage business stakeholders and practice partners to shape core content, assessments, exercises, and workshops
-
Ensure content created helps colleagues in confidently engaging with our clients and prospects
-
Coach content creators / Subject matter experts on presentation relevance, transference of knowledge and impact
-
Host and deliver training workshops
-
Define and measure key metrics to help assess impact and success of new initiatives
-
Market comprehensive training plan for learners with key stakeholders in Asia; serve as a champion for our work within the business

Use digital learning to provide high-touch communication and enhance in-person offerings in an evolving learning environment

Manage multiple projects at the same time with different timelines
-
Work with global Client Skills Team members and business stakeholders to build programs solutions at product, industry and professional skills level

Share best practices of one program that can be implemented in others
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Coaching and facilitation skills
-
Learning design and content creation expertise
-
Solution-oriented with strong interpersonal, consultative, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
-
Ability to command an audience and interact confidently with senior executives.

Active listener, who knows how to access insightful questions and unlock a greater understanding of business and learning needs
-
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with senior business leaders and key stakeholders.

Flexibility in a fast-paced changing environment; comfortable working in agile environment with an entrepreneurial passion for building new things

Strong project management skills; robust organization, attention to detail and time management skills in a multicultural and international environment

Excellent communications in English and Japanese (both written and spoken)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Previous client advisory and sales experience within the Asset Management or financial services industry
-
Familiarity with learning solutions and their practical application
-
Proficiency in Chinese or other Asian languages
