Job Summary:

As a Product Development (ALTs) Executive Director on the Asset Management Product Development team you will lead the development and enhancement of alternative investment products for private wealth and retail channels. You responsible for driving new product initiatives, market expansion, and strategic partnerships across the Americas, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions in the alternatives space.

Job Responsibilities:

Product Development

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new alternative investment products, with a focus on expanding private wealth alternatives offerings.

  • Enhance and restructure existing funds, including mergers and liquidations, to ensure continued competitiveness and alignment with investor needs.

  • Analyze competitor offerings, market trends, and investor demand to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for differentiation.

Product Structuring & Regulatory Management

  • Design and structure investment vehicles, including interval funds, tender offer funds, and retail 3c7 funds, to meet regulatory requirements, operational efficiency, and investor accessibility.

  • Define and manage product naming, pricing, share class strategy, capacity management, and seed capital processes.

  • Assess and implement regulatory changes impacting alternative funds across the Americas, including SEC co-investment exemptive relief and evolving regulations for the inclusion of alternative investments in retirement plans.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Collaborate with internal teams (alternatives investment teams, distribution, operations, technology, marketing, finance) to support product buildout and ongoing management.

  • Conduct ongoing reviews of fund performance, fees, and optimization opportunities for governance forums and Fund Boards.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations on product initiatives to internal governance forums and senior leadership.

Required Qualifications, Attributes and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, CAIA, or equivalent) preferred.

  • 12+ years of experience in product development or structuring within alternative asset management, with expertise in interval funds, tender offer funds, and retail 3c7 funds.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including SEC co-investment exemptive relief and rules for alternatives in retirement plans.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex product launches.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • This role could also be for a seasoned VP with seven or more years of experience at a lower, yet still competitive salary range
