As a Sales Assistant within the High Touch Sales Trading team, you support the execution of client orders and contribute to the success of our trading desk. You engage with both domestic and international clients, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and help drive business outcomes through market analysis and operational excellence. You play a vital role in ensuring smooth pre-trade and post-trade operations, supporting product development initiatives, and maintaining high standards of risk management and compliance. Your work directly impacts our client franchise and the firm’s reputation for excellence.

Job responsibilities:

• Support client order execution through direct market access and algorithmic trading platforms
• Assist with pre-trade analysis, index constituent research, and trade processing
• Prepare and send trade recaps, termsheets, and market update summaries to clients
• Respond to client queries and macro-economic market research requests
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client and operational issues
• Prepare market content using news, views and JPM research
• Create analytics to assess client activity and trading desk performance
• Facilitate onboarding of clients for market products
• Support product development and IT initiatives to improve trading desk processes
• Ensure compliance with risk management, legal, and regulatory requirements
• Take initiative to improve business practices and client solutions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Interest in financial markets and trading
• Experience in sales trading, trading, or related roles in an investment banking environment
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Proficiency in market and product terminology, transaction cycles, and trading platforms
