As a Valuation Control Analyst, you will collaborate with business leaders and functional groups to drive consistency and transparency in our valuation practices. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to key control initiatives and support the firm’s commitment to fair value. Your expertise will help strengthen our control environment and support ongoing business, risk, and finance projects.

As a Valuation Control Analyst in the Valuation Control Group, you execute price verification and benchmark processes to ensure fair value across multiple business lines. You partner with various teams to address valuation-related issues and implement measures that enhance control efficiency. You contribute to management reporting, regulatory mandates, and value-added projects that support business, risk, and finance initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute price verification and benchmark processes, including calculation of fair value adjustments
  • Assist with established practices and control initiatives within the Valuation Control Group, supporting management reporting and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with functional groups to address valuation-related issues and implement measures to ensure fair value
  • Enhance the existing control framework by reviewing independent pricing processes, assessing coverage developments, and implementing new tools to improve efficiency
  • Participate in value-added projects related to business, risk, and finance initiatives

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance or economics
  • Ability to understand complex financial products and analyze transaction and process flows
  • Understanding of valuation concepts for financial products and derivatives, as well as basic accounting knowledge
  • Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Graduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or engineering.
  • Work experience in the financial industry.
  • Candidates with quantitative backgrounds.
