As a Vice President, you will collaborate across banking and markets to originate, structure, and execute private‑side financing and liability management. As a Vice President in Corporate Sales – Private Side Financing, you will work with us to originate, structure, and execute financing solutions for China‑headquartered corporate clients. You will partner across corporate banking, loan syndications, capital markets, trading, and legal/compliance to deliver end‑to‑end execution, while maintaining strict private‑side governance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and deepen relationships with China‑headquartered corporates to originate private‑side financing and episodic hedging opportunities
  • Structure and execute financing solutions including structured loans, risk‑managed financing, cross‑currency and interest rate overlays, and liability management
  • Originate and execute episodic hedging, in FX, rates, and credit, etc.
  • Partner with banking, syndications, capital markets, trading, and structuring teams to deliver timely, accurate execution
  • Prepare and present market views, financing ideas, and client‑specific proposals aligned to objectives and risk appetite
  • Coordinate documentation, approvals, and post‑trade processes with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain rigorous private‑side protocols, including appropriate handling of material non‑public information
  • Track pipeline and revenue; analyze client flows and product mix to optimize coverage and commercial outcomes
  • Mentor and support junior team members; contribute to a collaborative team culture
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels; represent the team in client meetings and internal forums
  • Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, firm‑wide risk frameworks, and internal policies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financing processes and client service

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in corporate financing or private‑side solutions for China HQ and multinational corporates
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline
  • Proven track record originating and executing financing solutions (e.g., structured loans, cross‑currency/interest rate solutions, liability management)
  • Strong understanding of documentation and execution disciplines for financing transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to manage private‑side protocols and governance rigor
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; confident engaging senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills; high degree of numeracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to partner effectively across banking, markets, legal, compliance, operations, and risk
  • Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment; proactive, results‑driven, and highly organized
  • Fluency in Mandarin and professional proficiency in English required for cross‑border client and documentation needs

Preferred qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Established relationships with corporate clients in Greater China
  • Experience coordinating multi‑jurisdictional transactions and cross‑border execution
  • Familiarity with liability management techniques and risk‑managed financing overlays
  • Working knowledge of local and regional regulatory frameworks relevant to financing
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and evolving client needs
