As part of the Foreign Exchange (FX) Services Technology Team, you'll develop cutting-edge web applications and APIs that capture, price, and execute passive FX transaction flows across multiple JPMorgan Chase lines of business, engaging directly with stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions.

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase as a part of the Foreign Exchange (FX) Services Technology Team, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.

Job responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Formal training or certification on engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience with React
• Proficient in coding in front end frameworks such as React, Typescript, HTML, CSS etc.
• Experience in building high-performance desktop/web applications
• Experience in test driven development using modern source control and continuous integration
• Understanding of full software development lifecycle and agile approach
• Passion for interactive design
• Clear understanding of UX methodologies

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Exposure to cloud technologies
• Familiarity with designing tools, such as Figma
• Familiarity with Java, Springboot, Maven
• Familiarity with OLAP application and data visualization
