Join JPMorgan Chase’s Merchant Acquiring business at the forefront of innovation in digital payments, helping clients grow by providing seamless and secure payment acceptance across channels and geographies. As part of the broader J.P. Morgan Payments franchise, we serve global clients across industries and regions and continually evolve to meet the changing landscape of commerce.

As a Product Lead within the Merchant Services team, you will support the development, delivery, and management of global and domestic payments capabilities across ecommerce and card‑present channels. You will play an important role in defining the customer journey and experience, roadmap planning, and cross‑functional project execution. You are an energetic self‑starter, curious and driven to learn, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to build a career in product management within one of the most exciting areas of JPMorgan Payments. This role requires professional fluency in Spanish, with Italian preferred also, and a strong understanding of the Spanish financial services and banking landscape.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with engineering to drive development and scaling of new features and products.
  • Ensure products meet market needs, regulatory requirements, and network specifications, adapting to global and local nuances across regions, with specific consideration for Spain and Southern Europe.
  • Drive implementation and oversee the end‑to‑end lifecycle of payments solutions—from discovery and design through launch, iteration, and scale
  • Understand merchant payment flows across ecommerce and point‑of‑sale
  • Guide large‑scale client onboarding and integrations; create deployment plans, identify dependencies and risks, and remove blockers to deliver at pace.
  • Monitor product performance through reports, dashboards, and periodic stakeholder reviews
  • Manage the product roadmap, balancing stakeholder inputs with clear prioritization and outcome‑focused delivery.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Professional fluency in Spanish (spoken and written); ability to conduct client meetings, negotiate requirements, and produce product documentation in Spanish.
  • Significant experience or equivalent expertise in digital payments, merchant acquiring, or fintech product management, delivering end‑to‑end product experiences from conception to scaled adoption.
  • Strong knowledge of payments ecosystems, including ecommerce and card‑present flows, payment networks and scheme rules, regulatory environments, and merchant needs across regions, with a strong understanding of the Spanish financial services and banking landscape.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and deliver client‑centric payment experiences, including launch and iterative optimization based on data and client feedback.
  • Experience working in external, client‑facing contexts to convert solutions into revenue; adept at simplifying complex topics for diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex integrations and implementations, proactively identify roadblocks, and drive cross‑functional resolution across product, engineering, and operations.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills; comfortable operating in a matrixed, global organization.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Italian language skills strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with payment performance and risk practices, regulatory requirements and emerging technologies in payments.
  • Prior experience launching or transforming mission‑critical payment platforms and services with a strong track record in execution at scale.
  • Background in digital payments, merchant acquiring, B2B commerce, or financial technology.
  • Strong analytical skills to size opportunities, diagnose issues, define metrics, and drive data‑informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating across product, design, technology, risk, legal, compliance, operations, marketing, and sales to align priorities and execute go‑to‑market.
  • Positive, team‑oriented leadership style; willingness to travel within EMEA, to support client engagements and regional initiatives.
