As a Transactions Manager II within JPMorgan Chase, you will be at the forefront of managing dynamic teams that process daily document transactions and extract checks and remittances. Your role is pivotal in leveraging your extensive knowledge of transaction and operations management to ensure the seamless integration of cutting-edge technology services for capturing client information. You will excel in delegating tasks, managing conflicts, and enhancing the customer experience, all while fostering a culture of innovation and strategic thinking within your team.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage and develop an operations team of 20 non-exempt employees.
  • Oversee production processes including currency and check receipt, processing, imaging, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure all internal and client-related deadlines are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with senior management, clients, and internal partners such as Technology, Sales, Product, and Market.
  • Achieve or surpass budget targets and site productivity, quality, and timeliness objectives.
  • Monitor employee productivity, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top, diverse talent while enhancing employee engagement.
  • Develop innovative, cost-efficient solutions and processes.
  • Foster a culture of escalation and proactive risk identification.
  • Recognize and reward individuals and teams for exceptional performance.
  • Drive effective verbal and written communication across all operational levels.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of 7 years’ management/leadership experience in a business discipline or relevant operations environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in staff development and management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience.
  • Experience engaging with metric owners to analyze data trends and irregularities.
  • Demonstrated objective/goal setting and achievement.
  • Experience leading organizational and operational change initiatives.
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Risk management experience, including facilitation of risk & control self-assessment.
