JPMorgan Chase is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Operations Manager to lead the buildout and management of operational functions in Buenos Aires. This strategic role requires an individual with a proven track record of developing high-performance teams in complex environments, while maintaining strong partnerships with global teams and lines of business.
Job Responsibilities:

Lead the establishment and growth of operational functions in Buenos Aires, ensuring alignment with global partners and stakeholders.

Manage teams responsible for processing activities across the full lifecycle of financial products, partnering with internal and external clients, stakeholders, and regulatory partners.

Operate independently to achieve outcomes aligned with strategic initiatives, requiring advanced relationship management and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Oversee costs and resourcing for the team, ensuring disciplined delivery against budget and targets.
-
Create and promote a robust controls environment within the team, building partnerships with key control stakeholders through effective communication and governance.

Build and cultivate high-performing teams by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent; foster a strong performance management culture.

Identify and deliver solutions that address the needs of clients and stakeholders
Required Qualifications and Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of 7 years in operations and management roles; experience in financial operations is a plus.

Demonstrated experience in hiring and managing large teams, providing vision, creativity, presence, and credibility.

Proven ability to manage and collaborate within a highly matrixed organization, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and reach consensus with diverse stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and diagnostic abilities; able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions.

Ability to establish productive working relationships with internal stakeholders to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.

Risk and control mindset, demonstrating sound judgment in balancing innovation and growth with regulatory, legal, and operational risk management.

Executive communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, concise messages tailored for senior stakeholders and clients.
