The Opportunity

We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Clinical Specialist to join our Joint Reconstruction Team in NZ. Based in Invercargill, the Clinical Specialist will focus on providing clinical support to Orthopaedic Surgeons in the operating theatre across our Hip & Knee replacement solutions including VELYS™, our cutting-edge robotic technology.

This position requires regular travel to hospitals in Invercargill & Dunedin to support cases.

Responsibilities

  • Attending surgical procedures and providing expert clinical support to Orthopaedic Surgeons and Nursing staff in the correct and safe use of products
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and providing in-service training to Registrars, Nursing staff etc.
  • Optimising opportunities by passing on leads to the Sales Team and providing product demo as required
  • Maintaining strong product knowledge through ongoing training and driving clinical excellence through professional and exceptional customer experience

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in a health-related field (Nursing, Physiotherapy, Paramedicine, Exercise Science, Osteopathy, Chiropractic etc.), and experience supporting Hip and Knee Arthroplasty is highly regarded
  • Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills
  • Self-starter who is results driven and solutions focused
  • Autonomous and able to work as part of a team, and is organised with good time management skills
