Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a SFA, Platform Support, FP&A to be located in Raynham, MA, Raritan, NJ or West Chester, PA.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as De Puy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of De Puy Synthes and your employment would be governed by De Puy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by De Puy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

The Senior Financial Analyst, Platform Support, FP&A plays a critical role in enabling data‑driven decision‑making across De Puy Synthes by providing financial planning, forecasting, and analytical support for enterprise platforms and enabling functions. This role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate complex financial data into clear insights that improve operational performance, resource allocation, and strategic execution. The position offers broad exposure to platform economics, system‑enabled reporting, and leadership‑level financial analysis within a global Med Tech organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support short‑ and long‑term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for platform and enabling functions.

  • Develop, analyze, and communicate financial performance metrics, including variance analysis versus plan, forecast, and prior periods.

  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate cost drivers, investment trade‑offs, and efficiency opportunities.

  • Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc financial reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations for leadership review.

  • Build and maintain financial models to assess the impact of platform investments, system enhancements, and operational initiatives.

  • Support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial controls.

  • Improve the quality, transparency, and usability of financial data through process improvements and standardization.

  • Identify trends and risks, providing actionable insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

  • Contribute to audit support and ensure compliance with internal financial policies and controls.

  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best‑practice sharing across the FP&A community.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field (required)

  • MBA or other advanced degree (preferred)

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Typically 2-4 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, finance analytics, or a related discipline

  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial reporting systems and data visualization tools

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting technology platforms, shared services, or enterprise functions

  • Exposure to large, matrixed, global organizations

  • Experience with ERP, planning, or BI tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, Power BI)

  • Understanding of cost management, investment analysis, and productivity initiatives

  • Prior experience in Med Tech, healthcare, or regulated industries

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence across functions

  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Other:

  • Language: English (additional languages a plus)

  • Travel: Limited (<10%), primarily domestic

  • Certifications: CPA, CMA, or similar (preferred, not required)

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79,000.00 - $127,650.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year

Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
