Service Planning Excellence Lead EMEA

Shape the future as the Service Planning Excellence Lead EMEA at Johnson Controls!

At Johnson Controls, we are committed to building a safer, more comfortable, and more sustainable world. Our international teams develop innovative, integrated solutions that make cities smarter, buildings more efficient, and organizations more future‑ready. Driven by our passion for how the world lives, works, and plays, we believe the future requires vision, entrepreneurship, and collaboration across borders.

What will you do?

As the Service Planning Excellence Lead EMEA, you will play a key role in further professionalizing our Field Service Operations across the region. You will be the driving force behind developing, optimizing, and implementing data‑driven models that support our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes, with a strong focus on capacity planning and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with regional leaders, operations teams, data analysts, and commercial stakeholders to generate insights that directly improve decision‑making, productivity, and the customer experience.

You ensure that teams not only have access to the right data, but also understand it, apply it, and use it effectively.

How will you do this?

In this role, you combine analytical strength, operational understanding, and change management. You will:

  • Develop and maintain advanced data and planning models that deliver actionable insights for operations.
  • Collect, translate, and structure large datasets to enhance forecasting and performance dashboards.
  • Coach teams on the use of self‑service models and ensure insights are truly adopted across the organization.
  • Facilitate the IBP cycle and bring stakeholders together to align demand and capacity.
  • Track actions, decisions, and progress using Rolling Action Logs.
  • Identify best practices across EMEA and promote standardization and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure data consistency and governance across all reports and dashboards.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to define new data needs.
  • Support Talent Acquisition with insights on capacity and future hiring requirements.

In short: you are the connector between data, operations, and strategy.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone energized by complex challenges—someone who turns data into impact and guides teams through change. You bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of field operations, resource planning, and financial KPIs.
  • Experience in data modeling, forecasting, and planning tools.
  • A hands‑on mindset: you dive into data while keeping a strategic overview.
  • Experience working in matrix organizations and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
  • Change management capabilities — you know how to guide teams through new processes.
  • Experience with Power BI and advanced Excel skills.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification (preferred).

Why Johnson Controls?

At Johnson Controls, you have the opportunity to make a real impact on an international scale. You will work in a dynamic environment where innovation is central and where your insights directly contribute to improved service performance, higher customer satisfaction, and a more efficient organization.

We offer:

  • A competitive salary and strong secondary benefits.
  • Hybrid working and flexibility.
  • Opportunities for development, training, and certifications.
  • An international environment with ambitious colleagues.
  • The chance to play a key role in shaping the future of our service organization.
