The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Sprinkler Estimator to join our Waikato & Bay of Plenty team. This is a key role where you’ll work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, compliant, and commercially sound estimates across a variety of fire sprinkler projects.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare accurate estimates for the supply, installation and servicing of fire sprinkler systems across the Waikato & BoP

  • Consult with clients to understand scope, requirements and solutions

  • Ensure all estimates comply with current New Zealand Standards, legislation and company margin requirements

  • Follow up submitted quotations and actively support business development efforts

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and internal business units

  • Promote Johnson Controls’ full range of fire protection solutions and services

  • Complete reporting, forecasting and administrative requirements in a timely manner

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in sprinkler estimating, fire protection or a related construction discipline

  • Estimating and/or sales experience within the construction industry preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage time, priorities and multiple bids effectively

  • Full, clean New Zealand driver’s license
