Equity Execution Advisory Services:

To be an integral part of the Execution Advisory Services team within APAC Cash Equity Execution business. The director level sales trader is a senior-level position responsible for supporting and developing our Execution Product performance analysis service and Execution Platform Sales development for APAC region. The individual will partner with coverage and sales teams to drive business growth of priority client accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with clients and internal stakeholders (MQA, Product, Sales Coverage) to implement customized algorithmic trading solutions.
  • Providing Algo Execution & Liquidity product (Citi Smart algos, Dark pool, Central risk book, Swap Internalization) performance analysis and research to top 50 clients across Cash & Prime.
  • Design, implement, and optimize trading solutions that directly contribute to improving Citi’s execution performance, resulting in better ranking in broker review, thereby driving monetization across execution channels.
  • Content publication on important Equity Trading related topics to engage & capture client mind share and improve marketing of Citi’s execution products
  • Develop execution consulting analytics and models. Use available toolkit and product to deliver client requests as well as assist to create new product development.
  • Develop relationship with client traders and quant decision makers to understand client execution needs and deepen the business partnership.
  • Apply the above-mentioned skill sets and expertise to support the requirements gathering, data analysis, and idea presentation needed to support successful client Algo Wheel implementations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Good balance of technical and quantitative skills as well as client engagement experience
  • In-depth knowledge of equity trading, trading strategies, APAC markets and market issues
  • In-depth knowledge of algorithmic trading, liquidity venues and market microstructure
  • Knowledge of common client trading problem sets, industry benchmarks, Algo Wheel implementations, and trends in Electronic Trading
  • Knowledge of Machine learning methodologies, including clustering techniques, factor modeling, and Advanced Statistics.
  • Proven client relationships and institutional client-specific knowledge
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven negotiation and persuasion skills and fluency in additional languages preferred
  • Coding/Technical skills – Python, KDB-Q, Excel-VBA

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred (Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or alike)
