As a Field‑Based Fire Pump Engineer

, you will:- Service, maintain, commission, and installfire pump equipment across a wide range of sectors.

  • Work on diesel‑driven pump systems, ensuring reliability and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot, fault‑find, and carry out repairs with a strong focus on quality.
  • Uphold best practices in health and safety.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service as a trusted technical expert.

How You Will Do It

You’ll carry out the servicing, repair, diagnostics, and installation of diesel‑driven and electric fire pump systems across customer sites in the Midlands, ensuring all work meets compliance standards and customer expectations.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience in diesel engine servicing, repair & fault‑finding
  • Experience in pumps such as drainage, sewage, fuel transfer, or similar
  • Candidates without fire pump experience are welcome if they have strong diesel engine capability
  • Confident using tablets/phones for job management
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in high‑quality workmanship
  • Customer‑focused with a proactive attitude
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
