The Platform & Core Services (PCS) organization within PDX builds and operates Intuit’s foundational compute, traffic, and API platforms that power all product development at scale. PCS is at the center of Intuit’s transition to an AI-native, platform-driven future abstracting complexity, accelerating developer velocity, and enabling reliable, cost-efficient, and secure services across the company.
We are seeking a M3 Manager, Technical Program Management to lead execution across critical PCS platform initiatives spanning IKS AIR, Traffic, API Management, and AI-native platform capabilities. This role is about owning outcomes in an environment defined by scale, ambiguity, and constant change.
You will lead a team of senior TPMs responsible for driving complex platform migrations, cross-org delivery, and execution predictability across dozens of engineering teams. You will operate as a trusted execution partner to PCS and PDX leadership, translating ambitious platform strategy into sustained, measurable delivery.
This role requires deep comfort with platform engineering, large-scale migrations, traffic and API systems, and emerging AI/ML-driven infrastructure and the leadership maturity to operate effectively when the path is not fully defined.
Responsibilities
Platform Program Leadership
- Own delivery of a portfolio of high-impact platform programs across compute (IKS AIR), traffic runtime , API management, and AI-enabled platform capabilities.
- Ensure execution of large-scale platform migrations and modernization efforts, often spanning 20–40+ teams and multiple geographies.
- Establish clear execution models that translate strategy into actionable plans, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
- Ensure platform initiatives deliver measurable outcomes across developer velocity, reliability, cost efficiency, and adoption.
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of high-performing TPMs operating in highly technical domains.
- Set clear expectations around ownership, accountability, and execution rigor and hold the bar.
- Create an environment where TPMs grow technically, strategically, and as leaders.
Cross-Functional Influence
- Partner deeply with engineering, architecture, product, and platform leadership across PCS and PDX.
- Serve as an execution thought partner helping leaders make informed trade-offs.
- Drive alignment across compute, traffic, API, and AI platform workstreams to ensure cohesive delivery.
- Influence without authority in a matrixed organization with competing priorities.
Execution Excellence
- Establish and continuously improve operating mechanisms for planning, dependency management, risk tracking, and delivery transparency.
- Proactively surface risks, resolve ambiguity, and unblock teams before issues escalate.
- Use data to assess program health and drive course correction.
- Raise the standard for predictability, clarity, and follow-through in complex initiatives
Qualifications
Experience
10+ years of Technical Program Management experience in platform, infrastructure, or large-scale systems environments.
5+ years of people management experience leading senior TPMs or equivalent roles.
Proven track record delivering complex platform programs and migrations (e.g., Kubernetes, runtime abstraction, traffic systems, API platforms, cloud modernization).
Demonstrated experience operating across compute platforms, traffic management, APIs, and distributed systems.
Experience working in highly ambiguous, fast-moving environments where strategy and execution evolve in parallel.
Technical Depth
Strong understanding of modern platform technologies such as:
Kubernetes and cloud-native runtimes
Traffic management, service mesh, gateways, and networking concepts
API platforms (REST, GraphQL), API lifecycle and governance
CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence
Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled platforms, agentic systems, or AI-driven developer tooling is strongly preferred.
Leadership & Execution Skills
Ability to think end-to-end across strategy, architecture, execution, and outcomes.
Strong risk management instincts — you see problems early and act decisively.
Exceptional communication skills; able to synthesize complex technical topics for executive audiences.
Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain top TPM talent.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Agile and program management training preferred.
