Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled JD Edwards (JDE) Enterprise One 9.2 Application Developer, expert in Manufacturing & Supply Chain modules to design, develop, and support JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in JDE development tools and a solid understanding of business processes in manufacturing, supply chain, cost accounting, and other ERP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy configurations, customizations, and enhancements in JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2.

  • Expert in JDE 9.2 Manufacturing & Supply Chain modules; problems faced are complicated, often complex, and require awareness of the impact on business and ecosystem.

  • Collaborate as a trusted advisor with business subject matter experts to gather requirements, analyze, and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Lead application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities and correct programming errors, respond to scope changes, and code application enhancements. Includes managing large projects or processes with limited oversight.

  • Develop and maintain JDE reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE components).

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and service outages and performance bottlenecks.

  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations.

  • Analysis of market trends in new application and development tools, sourcing/identification of software/solutions

  • Automating routine tasks using scripting and writing basic computer programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement, including gen AI or RPA solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.

  • Provide technical documentation and end-user training as needed.

  • Estimate cost and effort of enhancements/solutions.

  • Support strategic planning and roadmap development.

  • Coach, review and delegate work to lower-level and 3rd party professionals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • Recognized subject matter expert in Manufacturing & Supply Chain typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.

  • 5-10 years of experience in JD Edwards Enterprise One development, with a minimum of 2 years of experience with JDE Enterprise One 9.2.

  • Proficiency in JDE development tools such as BI Publisher, Orchestrator, Business Functions (BSFN), and Table Design and UDOs.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL, C/C++, and JDE toolsets.

  • Familiarity with JDE Manufacturing & Supply Chain modules and 3rd party PLM, Planning, and compliance tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

  • Excellent Active Listening and Persuasion skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data migration and integration tools (e.g., EDI, BSSV, REST APIs).

  • Understanding of project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum).

  • Lean Six Sigma or supply chain certifications (APICS CPIM/CSCP)

  • JDE Enterprise One certification is a plus
