Gardner Denver Transport provides equipment which efficiently transfers bulk material from road tankers and other vehicles. As global requirements advanced, we started developing into wider applications and we now produce equipment for alternative markets including specialised transport, on-board power systems for operating/powering other equipment, and bespoke electric compressor packages for e-mobility vehicles.

Within our Bradford facility we design, machine, assembly and install our entire Bulk Powder and Liquid Compressor range for Road Transport Vehicles. Providing our customers with the whole product life cycle is number one for us and with our mobile service engineers we offer from concept design, manufacture, installation and aftermarket support.

Job Summary

The fitting of mechanical installations incorporating hydraulic and pneumatic components such as compressors and drivelines to heavy Goods Vehicles and Utility Vans. The successful candidate would be required to meet build completion dates to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Fitting products to vehicles in accordance with build instructions

• Working with members of Sales/Engineering teams to ensure customer specifications are achieved

• Ensuring all products meet all necessary quality requirements

• Maintaining all necessary documents and records required by the company quality systems

• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping

• Reporting any defects and quality issues immediately to production supervisor/quality engineer.

Basic Qualifications

• Previous experience of mechanical fitting on vehicles

• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Able to understand engineering drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic circuit diagrams
