Job Description:

• Lead industrialization and production readiness for structures, frames, floor cross beams, clips, brackets, and system installation features.

• Develop and release assembly process plans, routings, tooling concepts, and work instructions in accordance with Airbus manufacturing and quality standards.

• Perform DMU/DE analysis for installation feasibility, accessibility, clash checks, ergonomic validation, and tool reach studies.

• Define sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant, production facilities and equipment layouts for maximum utilization of facility

• Define fastener strategies, sealing requirements, tolerance stack ups, and joining methodologies for composite-metallic interfaces in accordance with Engineering drawing / BOM

• Support tooling definition, jig/fixture specification, NC program requirements, and capability validation.

• Provide shop floor engineering support for resolving technical deviations, blockers, and line disruptions across stations.

• Perform Capacity planning

• Create Line of Balance for production parts / assemblies

• Perform obsolescence study and provide resolution to mitigate obsolescence risk

• Drive cycle time optimization, takt improvements, ergonomics enhancement, and industrial efficiency projects.

• Ensure MBOM accuracy, configuration control, and digital documentation maturity across industrial milestones.

• Coordinate effectively with offshore teams and lead the team to meet customer requirements ensuring clarity in work packages, deliverables, and issue resolution turnaround.

• Engage multi-site stakeholders including Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and suppliers to ensure build readiness.

• Support Development gates, manufacturing risk assessments, and continuous improvement activities.

• Qualifications & Experience

• Strong knowledge in SAP Production / Manufacturing Modules

• Knowledge of ME tools used in production ie: capacity analysis, facility layout, and production improvements

• Analyze manufacturing non conformities and perform technical assessments.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement

• Production Support & Troubleshooting

• Industrial Efficiency & Project Management

• Knowledge of metallic and composite tooling.

• Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards (AS9100 and other related requirements)

• Experience of using Airbus Supply (Doc Master, Airnavx etc.).

• Valid Airbus training certificates in SAP, VPM and PASS SSI.

• Bi-lingual (French and English).

• BE / BTECH/MTECH/MS or equivalent degree (Aerospace/ Mechanical/Industrial Engineering)

• 5 -10 years of experience in an Aerospace domain with Manufacturing engineering expertise.

• Proven experience working on Airbus aircraft programs (A320, A330, A350, A380, etc.)
