Role:

Senior Consultant
Location : San Jose, Costa Rica (Hybrid)

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient and reliable Visual C# applications that 1) extract, transform, and load data from a multitude of raw data sources to a SQL database as well as 2) work with software on the Autodesk platform (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks). Work closely with business & technical leads to manage recurring jobs, monitor data quality, and debug/troubleshoot data or performance issues. Review current state design and documentation and partner with cross-functional and 3rd party teams to evolve the design around changing business requirements and desired features & functionality.
You will be expected to participate in all phases of software development lifecycle and will need to follow Agile Development methodology.

Requirements:

• 4+ years hands-on development experience with application development in C#
• Experienced and proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET Framework 4.0+
• Database scripting experience for Microsoft SQL Server database
• Experienced and proficient with SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and relational database modeling
• Good troubleshooting skills involving Backend-Frontend interactions
• Experience with agile software development practice, scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.

Qualifications:

Basic:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. We will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 8 years of relevant experience mentioned in the job description

Preferred:

• 4+ years hands-on development experience with application development in C#

• Prior experience with Autodesk & .NET APIs

• Experience with any of the following Autodesk products (in order of preference): AutoCAD, Revit, Navis Works, Inventor. Emphasis on programmatically working with or developing applications for these products.

• Experience or proficiency with Linq and handling/manipulation of large volume of data in Data Tables

• Experience with source code management in GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket

• Experience with Atlassian suite of tools, particularly Confluence and JIRA

• Experience evaluating and working with 3rd party libraries

• Prior industry experience supporting manufacturing, semiconductors, or architecture/engineering/construction
