Senior Manager, Finance Performance Management

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager, Finance Performance Management to lead and evolve our enterprise One Stream planning, consolidation, and analytics platform in Bangalore, India. This role will drive strategic transformation initiatives and provide technical and delivery leadership across regions finance planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting processes. The Senior Manager will be accountable for platform strategy, solution architecture, delivery governance, and stakeholder partnership, ensuring One Stream scales with business complexity and supports executive decision-making. This role requires strong One Stream expertise, solid finance acumen, and experience leading cross-functional teams across regions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end One Stream platform strategy, roadmap, and governance for enterprise planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, IT, and regional finance teams to ensure smooth and timely release of applications and modules
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of One Stream analysts, setting technical standards and best practices
  • Establish and enforce development standards, architectural principles, security controls, and model governance

Solution Architecture & Delivery

  • Design and oversee complex One Stream solution architectures, including financial models, workflows, dashboards, cube views, and integrations
  • Provide hands-on leadership for major implementations, enhancements, and upgrades, ensuring high-quality delivery
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain One Stream applications to support Finance business partners across planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Build, optimize, and maintain Business Rules (Finance Rules, Extensibility Rules, Connector Rules) using VB.NET and XML to drive automation and business logic
  • Create and manage One Stream metadata using Metadata Builder, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of SQL-based integrations between One Stream and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, data warehouses, Snowflake, etc.)
  • Configure and maintain workflows to manage data submissions, approvals, and validation processes efficiently
  • Design and deliver dashboards and cube views that provide actionable insights to Finance and business leaders

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive performance optimization, system stability, and proactive issue resolution
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities
  • Lead structured project delivery using formal methodologies across requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and user training
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners to understand reporting needs and deliver innovative solutions

Requirements

  • 14+ years of progressive experience in Finance Systems, EPM, or Financial Planning & Analytics
  • 5+ years of deep, hands-on One Stream experience, including architecture and complex implementations
  • Expert-level proficiency in:
  • One Stream Business Rules (Finance, Extensibility, Connector Rules)
    • VB.NET, SQL, XML
    • Metadata Builder, Workflows, Dashboards, and Cube Views
  • Proven ability to design modular, reusable, and efficient programs within One Stream
  • Ability to export and integrate data between One Stream and external systems
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting system implementations using structured project methodologies supporting requirements, design, development, validation, deployment, and training
  • Strong database, SQL, HANA/Snowflake, and/or advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving mindset and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts (FP&A, close, consolidation, reporting)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to present complex topics to executive audiences

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required; or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree in a related field is an added advantage
  • One Stream certifications preferred
