Job Description:COMPANY DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Control Specialist assists with daily Distribution Center and Field based Inventory Control initiatives that require daily execution. The Inventory Control Specialist activities contribute towards providing the highest parts availability and service levels within organizational standards. The Specialist is also tasked with utilizing inventory tools to assist both the Piqua Distribution Center and Field parts personnel in stocking appropriate parts to meet the business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and execute Min Max Requests Bulk load Field Min Max additions, removals, and adjustments in D365
  • Analyze current inventory levels to determine if request can be met immediately or at lead time
  • Determine Piqua Min Max for new parts
  • Coordinate with Shipping team to maintain level shipping load
  • Proactively transition Field Min Max in supersedence situations
  • Monitor Health of the Hobart Parts Business.Collaborate with the Inventory Manager to develop, maintain, and review dashboards that convey the health of the Hobart Parts business.
  • Investigate situations and provide aid to any department where the health begins to show a decline. Drive System Maintenance and Upkeep. Maintain inventory processes in the D365 ERP.
  • Review, communicate, and/or resolve system errors daily.
  • Manage the Inventory Control Inbox
  • Other duties and stretch projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in supply management, finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.

Experience in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Desired Education/Experience

Experience with SQL Server Management Studio is preferred, but not required.

Experience in procurement, inventory management, or distribution is preferred, but not required.
