About the position:

As an Estimating Officer you support the sales function in the HBS organization by developing accurate, timely and professional estimates. You will analyze the sales estimates to the customer requirements and provide guidance on factors to be used for competitive estimating.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Provide accurate and timely cost effective estimates which include scope, material and labor effort by skilled discipline.

• Identify explicit proposal inclusions to be prepared within required timelines, mitigating the risks with inclusions/exclusions/deviations

• Strategically support the organization by building relationships between internal customers and performing Stakeholder management (Internal customers, vendors such as end users and installers)

• Drive right and fast cost effective estimates and create alternate solutions

• Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Sales organization

• Performing quality checks for the jobs.

You must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.

• Some experience in the field or in technical pre-sales.

• Strong numerical attitude

• Demonstrated proficiency with Excel

• Ability to meet and improve delivered financial results from implemented estimates

• Excellent Communication and presentation skills in Dutch and English (French preferred)
