Leidos is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager in Fort Meade, MD (Hybrid).Work Location: This position is currently Hybrid, but may transition to full-time onsite support based on evolving operational requirements and program needs.

Your Mission

Join the Leidos team on the front lines of digital transformation for the Department of Defense. As a key leader on the Defense Enclave Services (DES) contract, you will drive the modernization and sustainment of critical IT infrastructure for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Fourth Estate Agencies. Your work will directly contribute to a unified digital enterprise that delivers cohesive and cutting-edge combat support capabilities to the warfighter. Clearance: Active Secret, with the ability to obtain Top Secret (U.S. Citizenship Required)Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be the central figure leading complex IT modernization and consolidation projects from initiation to completion. You will be empowered to guide multidisciplinary teams and ensure the flawless execution of projects that are vital to national security.

• Lead the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, on schedule, and on budget.

• Brief key stakeholders on project plans and progress, managing milestones and realigning schedules to overcome unforeseen challenges.

• Assemble and direct project teams, coordinating tasks with functional experts across operations, security, and contracts.

• Develop detailed resource plans and schedules to ensure your team has what it needs to succeed.

• Proactively identify and manage project risks, document lessons learned and drive the continuous improvement of our project management processes.

• Manage the Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) process and the delivery of required documentation.

• Identify automation opportunities to drive improved service delivery.

• Serve as the primary communication link for your projects, reporting status to leadership, preparing formal meeting minutes, and developing content for program reviews.

• Assist with the maintenance of the program’s Integrated Data Environment (Share Point) and support the technical publications team.

Required Qualifications:

• An active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

• A bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant project management experience (Note: Additional years of high-level experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).

• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, complex IT migration, consolidation, or technical refresh projects.

• Exceptional skills in resource planning, task scheduling, and risk management.

• A strong working knowledge of Network, Systems/Compute, and End-User Support environments.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and Share Point.

• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work onsite at Ft. Meade 2-3 days per week, or more as required by the customer.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP Certification.

• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., Service Now), discovery, and event management platforms.

• Familiarity with DISA and DoD organizational structures, regulations, and directives.

• Experience supporting a Program Management Office (PMO) on large government contracts.

• Proficiency with software development tools and methodologies.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
