We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advanced Software Engineer with deep expertise in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, etc.) to join our engineering IT team.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions while optimizing our engineering workflows using Atlassian’s suite of tools.

You Must have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• 7+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in DevOps.
• Proven experience with Dev Sec Ops tools including Jira (administration and scripting), Confluence, GitHub, and other CI/CD tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

We Value:

• Experience with REST APIs, scripting (e.g., Groovy, Shell), and plugin development for Atlassian tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to AI code assistants like GitHub Copilot
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure software systems.
• Lead the integration and customization of Atlassian tools to support agile development and DevOps practices.
• Automate workflows, reporting, and dashboards in Dev Sec Ops tools to improve team productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and best practices.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the software stack.
• Stay current with emerging technologies like AI, MLOps and recommend improvements to existing systems.
