The Honeywell Software Centre develops state of the art networked building automation and digital video surveillance solutions that run on Microsoft platforms.  Recognised as a leader in the development of innovative and quality software we use the latest development methodologies and tools and maintain a strong ongoing commitment to Quality Systems.
You will be part of a team of software engineers responsible for the development of Honeywell’s Building products.  These products are exported worldwide through Honeywell’s global businesses.
As a Software Engineering Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of the company. You will lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products and solutions. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in developing and executing engineering strategies that meet customer requirements and drive customer growth.
In this role, you will impact the success of the company by enabling Honeywell to maintain its position as a global technology leader and deliver innovative solutions that improve the quality of life for people around the world.
Strong leadership and team management skills, ability to lead, mentor, and motivate large engineering teams Strong technical acumen in Architecture, Design skills both Widnow applications and Web applications Strong background in .NET, C#Strong technical skills, we expect you can engage with our senior architects to contribute to technical plans and designs Experience with SOA, microservice and containerisation architecture Experience working in agile team environment, continuously shipping environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical  audiences Knowledge of Buildings domain in BMS (Access, Fire, HVAC and Video) and Projects & Services business model is highy valued Cloud computing experience, preferably Azure Experience with modern Javascript frameworks, preferably React is highly valued.
