OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS OR FRESH GRADUATES: Paid Internship

  • Technical Sales Support / Estimator in Budapest.

Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager for the opportunity on which they are working, the Intern Bachelors Engineer’s primary responsibility is to support local Estimating Team directly or indirectly in take offs, creating calculations and proposals, looking for solutions for the Customers via Sales Reps and/or Account Managers mainly with the use of Honeywell products, furthermore being in close cooperation with Engineering, Operations and Sourcing Teams and Subcontracting parties (Vendors/Suppliers/Installers/Designers).

The Intern Bachelors Engineer must ensure that all calculation and desired documentation is completed on a timely and accurate manner so that all items that are reported to have been prepared and completed will be correct when assessed by an assigned Estimator in charge.

The Intern Bachelors Engineer must technically understand the desired outcome and result of the task as well as the workings of the Honeywell/3rd party products that they are working with.

  • Undergraduate studies in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering are in progress. Willing to develop extensive product knowledge, understand, apply and work with latest Honeywell technology.  Is a team player that can share best practice and develop estimating teams.
  •  Fluent English and Hungarian.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Endurance, exactitude, solidity, patience.
  • Technical mindset.
  • Ability to identify context/connections/interdependences.
  • Assertiveness, self-motivated, flexible and able to manage changes.
  • Proactive approach, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team/environment.
  •  The minimum requirement for the number of hours worked per week is 16 hours, maximum 40 hours per week.
