PROJECT ENGINEER JOB DESCRIPTION  

DEPARTMENT: Project Engineering

REPORTS TO: Project Execution Leader  (AP region)

JOB TITLE: Cad Specialist BUSINESS TITLE: Project Engineer 2

SUMMARY                                        

As appropriate, Project Engineer will perform a variety of engineering responsibilities related to Hardware Panel engineering, creation of typical drawings, supporting Project engineers to execute projects effectively for the regional and other regional needs

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

Listed in order of relevance: 

- Develop and Prepare project drawings following standards, practices, and use of engineering tools as recommended by the department.   

- Communicate with customers, third party project representatives, and others to meet assigned project requirements. 

- Travel on need basis to Panel fabrication facility / customer site to support various project execution activities like conduct Panel check out / Do site survey etc., to support Project engineering activities.

- Study compressor data / maps provide by customer and perform various design calculations & develop various engineering documentation part of engineering design phase.

reinforce compliance to pre-determine standards and execution practices 

- Maintain and support all project related activities to complete testing of software / hardware in lab and in cabinet manufacturing facilities.

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering required. 

- 1 to 6+ years of experience in control automation systems engineering or related field or related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 

- Understanding of, or ability to learn CCC solutions 

- Knowledge of electric panels design for control system housing and relevant testing 

- Understanding of Controls Philosophy and engineering processes 

- Interact with customer and present solutions get engineering approvals

-Interact with supplier and make sure all technical requirements are met

-Perform engineering calculations like Valve sizing / Flow measurement instrument sizing / controller calculations etc.,

- Interact with Compressor OEM and present solution of CCC for the specific compressor configuration. 

- Basic computer skills; including basic PC setup and Microsoft Office products required. 

- Strong Oral and written communication skills. 

- Ability to read, speak, and write in English is required. 

- Must demonstrate software proficiency and industry knowledge. 

WORKING CONDITIONS 

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This role will require frequent domestic and international travel.
