The Program Control Organization’s (PCO) primary function is to ensure all customer projects follow standard methodology and ensure all projects are set up, reviewed and maintained to the Honeywell Building Technology standards in financial and project execution systems. PCO ensures data integrity by enforcing compliance with project management methodology, and project accounting requirements.

The Program Controls Leader, APAC will be responsible for further building the APAC Honeywell Building Technology (HBT) Program Controls Organization and setup systems, tools, and processes for effective PCO function across all LOBs. The Program Controls Leader APAC will ensure program / project management processes are implemented effectively. He/ She will ensure standardized project analysis tools and reports are used for a portfolio of large, medium, and small projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and achieve organizational objectives through execution of earned value and schedule management, cross functional communication, and agility thought leadership

  • Support HON business and program management leaders to ensure data integrity by enforcing compliance with management operating system and processes.

  • Build, manage and inspire a world class PP&C Analyst team to deliver innovative products and services to HON customers across the APAC region.

  • Ensure program follow HON standards and deliver on time budget and quality

  • Manage and measure program performance

  • Analyze program risk and recommend corrective actions

  • Setup systems and processes for the project reviews and bring in consistency across HBT to ensure common project control processes are followed across APAC pole

  • Leverage existing tools and systems to optimize the Program Control Processes Lead change management efforts in APAC

  • Have a continuous improvement mindset, and optimize the overall cycle time and cost of doing project controls

  • Support a PCO Excellence organization dedicated to proving and driving global standards global process for project controls to bring in consistency in measurement and reporting Leading a team PCO supervisors and Project Controllers, who will run the project control organization in the respective regions.

  • Building a team using front office and leveraging remote support to optimize the support cost and service levels

  • Reporting the potential EACs, Change Order potentials, and exceptions to the business leaders and following up corrective actions

  • Ensuring best practices are shared and deployed across APAC for project control’s function

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • Finance or Accounting or related field / significant experience (+6years)

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Project

  • Accounting, Project Control, Engineering or in Finance in the Building Automation domain

  • Experience with schedule and earned value management

  • 5+ years leadership experience in a global, multi-site, matrixed organization

  • 5+ years’ experience setting up and maintaining operating systems such as HOS and improvement tools

  • Strong leadership and influencing skills

  • Ability to influence through a global matrixed organization Results oriented with a sense of urgency and being courageous to take bold
