From piloting original IP to launching unforgettable events, this role is about making big ideas real—and resonant. If you thrive at the intersection of creativity, collaboration, and execution, this is your chance to shape what’s next for Cosmo.

About Hearst Magazines (Why Us?)
Hearst Magazines’ portfolio of more than 30 iconic brands in the U.S.—including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s BAZAAR, and Popular Mechanics—inspires, entertains, and builds new and bold experiences for an engaged and growing audience across digital, video, social and print, reaching nearly 130 million readers and site visitors each month. With sophisticated content creation, cutting-edge technology, and industry-leading data capabilities, we make media and products that move people across all platforms. We are a global media company that publishes nearly 200 magazine editions and 175 websites around the world—and together, we are shaping what’s next.

Key Responsibilities (What You’re Doing)

  • Ideate, plan, and pilot innovative IP extensions—including social formats, podcasts, event series, and newsletters—with performance, audience engagement, and revenue in mind
  • Execute special projects from start to finish independently and at a high level of quality
  • Collaborate across editorial, design, marketing, and branded content teams to effectively brand, visualize, and promote projects
  • Source, manage, and lead partnerships with external brands on events, experiential marketing, and merchandise
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis; share insights with leadership and proactively pitch new strategies
  • Support experimentation with new platforms, tools, and processes to improve workflow and productivity
  • Work closely with Cosmopolitan leadership to turn pilot programs into scalable initiatives
  • (As needed) Assist in producing and editing Cosmopolitan’s video and social series

Qualifications (What We’re Looking For)

  • 5+ years of experience producing innovative events, video, or digital content, ideally in a media or agency environment
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape, social trends, and editorial best practices
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects and execute independently with a high attention to detail
  • Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset and resourceful approach to production
  • Collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
  • Passion for Cosmopolitan’s brand and audience, with a pulse on what will resonate
  • Bonus: A portfolio that showcases original projects and creative execution
  • Hybrid role based in NYC; required in-office presence is 4 days per week
