Job Duties

  • Under direct supervision, provides routine and transactional level support services. Requires ability to assist with processes of gathering basic information in support of completion of customer credit applications.

  • Requires knowledge of oil & gas terminology with ability to prepare lien expiration schedules and gather the support documentation supporting same.

  • Needs knowledge of sources of Halliburton A/R ledger experience and ability to share this information within legal guidelines.

  • Requires basic knowledge of Halliburton's accounting system related to order-to-cash to facilitate charge-off requests and refund requests.

  • Requires knowledge of policies and procedures related to document storage and retrieval. This position requires some knowledge of general office procedures.

  • Generally performs routine administrative functions such as typing, filing, coding, sorting, and/or verification.

  • Maintains simple records, compiles routine or standardized statistics, and prepares simple reports in predetermined formats and with detailed instructions.

  • Requires skills in spreadsheet, word processing software and SAP. Candidate needs to be very well organized and have excellent communication skills, in particular for direct contact with external customers.

  • Undergraduate degree preferred, and/or equivalent combination of education and competency.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

The Credit & Risk team is responsible for evaluating customer creditworthiness, monitoring financial risk exposure, and implementing policies that protect the organization from credit losses. This role ensures that credit decisions align with business objectives while maintaining a healthy balance between risk mitigation and revenue growth. The position involves close coordination with sales, finance, and senior leadership to support sustainable business operations.

  • Assess and analyze customer financial statements, credit scores, payment history, and market reputation.

  • Determine appropriate credit limits and payment terms based on established risk guidelines.

  • Conduct periodic credit reviews and adjust limits as necessary.

  • Approve or decline credit applications within delegated authority levels.

  • Identify, measure, and monitor credit and operational risks across customer accounts.

  • Develop and implement risk‑control strategies to reduce exposure.

  • Maintain a risk‑rating framework for consistent assessment of customer profiles.

  • Track industry trends, economic conditions, and customer‑specific factors impacting credit risk

  • Monitor aging reports to ensure timely collections and healthy cash flow.

  • Work with internal teams to address delinquent accounts and resolve disputes.

  • Recommend proactive actions on high‑risk or deteriorating accounts (e.g., credit holds, modified terms).

Qualifications Systems skills and Knowledge

  • Use of SAP / S4 HANA in general

  • Expert knowledge and use of Microsoft office Excel Spreadsheet, Word and PowerPoint

  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective collaboration with the sales/BD team and finance team

Basic Qualifications: Graduate (Preferably B. Com / MBA)

Total Years of Experience: 3 – 5 Years of relevant experience
