The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop capabilities and maintain Agent Signals.

• Convert disparate metrics into visualizations through dedicated dashboards.

• Build infrastructure to detect and mitigate rogue agent risk.

• Develop observability for major agentic frameworks.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

• 2 years of experience with building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).

• Experience with GoogleSQL and building data pipeline.

• Experience with developing software applications using Python and Java.

• Experience with applications and services for data analysis, visualization, exploration, and management protocols and technologies.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

• Experience with next-generation monitoring stack.

• Experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., Agent Development Kit (ADK)/Orcas, Agency, Molecular Adsorbent Recirculating System (MaRS)) architecture and codebases.

• Experience with programming in one or more of the following languages: C++, Kotlin.

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Agents and Large Language Models, with focus on architecture.
