Develop and integrate safety solutions based on proactive risk assessments to maximize worker protection in R&D and lab settings.

Oversee the creation of educational materials, program documentation, and digital tracking systems to ensure safety solutions scale across the bay area cluster.

Partner with the site lead to embed safety protocols into daily operations, ensuring minimal friction and maximum compliance.

Conduct regular audits and risk assessments, draft high-level reports for leadership on site safety and health.

Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for incidents or near misses, identifying corrective actions and ensuring they are tracked to completion.

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

7 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).

7 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: robotics and automation (e.g., risk assessment and hazard mitigation in R&D environments), electrical Safety (e.g., developing programs based on NFPA 70E), or environmental compliance (e.g., navigating legislation like CUPA or BAAQMD).
