As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Drive material and supply chain readiness for all NPI builds from concept phase to production, partner with cross-functional teams to ensure transition for the Compute and Storage product group.

Identify, communicate and manage supply chain risks and mitigation plans to ensure materials readiness for NPI builds and supply continuity into production. Be the primary materials liaison with original device manufacturer (ODM)/Contract Manufacturer (CM)/Suppliers, manage spend against project budgets, and production risk buys and buffers.

Develop and document global supply chain map for each product, including suppliers, procurement model, lead time, shipment logistics, assembly/test/fulfillment model, and spares strategies.

Update project schedules, communicate status, risks and influence change, and represent the New Product Introduction Supply Chain organization in internal program meetings, driving initiatives and process improvements to help the team grow.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations, or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience in program or project management.
Preferred qualifications
-
Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations.
-
Experience with Server, Rack, or advanced electronics manufacturing.

Experience leading or collaborating for product launch and process improvement.
-
Experience leading cross functional process improvements, using excellent problem-solving and communication skills along with ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization.
