As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

Responsibilities

Own the development of long-range infrastructure supply plans. Develop regional evolution and investment strategies in close coordination with stakeholders and business objectives.

Utilize the output from advanced demand and capacity models to drive trade-off decisions and develop optimal multi-year supply plans, providing recommendations to accelerate growth.

Create and deliver cross-functional planning governance, enforcing established principles that reach broadly inside and outside direct scope or region.

Ensure incorporation of asset delivery status and risks from site acquisition through construction completion. Be responsible for maintaining consistent accountability and on-time performance of the regional plans.

Serve as the central bridge and point of contact for regional planning, cultivating strong relationships to align internal business drivers of all key stakeholders with regional infrastructure plans across Asia Pacific.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in program management or planning for data center infrastructure and real estate development.

Experience in developing technical insights and translating them into commercial solutions for the business and team.

Experience with data centers or other infrastructure in the areas of supply planning, site development, construction, design, or engineering in a changing environment.
Preferred qualifications
-
10 years of experience in managing cross-functional technical programs.

Ability to communicate data-motivated story around key business insights.

Excellent planning and communication skills in a cross-functional leadership role, with the ability to create project plans that break down work into phases and manage dependencies.
