Google Customer Solutions (GCS) sales teams are trusted advisors and competitive sellers who maintain a relentless focus on customer success by bringing the best Google has to offer to small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), which are the backbone of our communities. As a member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with company owners and make a real difference in their businesses by helping them grow. Responsibilities

  • Grow small-sized businesses in Germany with significant expansion potential.

  • Establish relationships by conducting regular phone consultations and sales pitches with a large portfolio of clients, using your sales, problem-solving and objection managing skills to operate in a fluid environment, reaching for ambitious business and productivity goals.

  • Deliver effective solutions to high potential small businesses from all verticals and business models, in each stage of their journey, in the most efficient way for the business and with a high performing sales team at scale.

  • Use commercial acumen, to uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and achieve their marketing objectives while generating incremental business goals through our industry leading advertising solutions.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.

  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications

  • Certification in Google Digital Workshop.

  • Experience in strategically assessing and achieving client success via proven sales techniques, including effective discovery questioning, objection handling, and consultative selling.

  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising.

  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in German, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.

  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy, and influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.
