As an Executive Recruiter, VP Practice, you will focus on hiring the best executive talent, representative of all users, enabling Google to build an innovative and sustainable future.
In this role, you will be a trusted advisor to the leadership at Google, relied on for advice about the outside talent market as well as how it compares to the talented Googlers we already have in the organization. You will work with a perspective on the external technical talent landscape and deep insights into Google’s business priorities and will be part of a team developing search strategies and leading engagements to hire Vice Presidents for Google's technical portfolios.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000-$235,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance to clients as they define the executive technical talent and organization leaders needed to drive Google’s strategy.

Act as a domain talent expert, provide valuable assessments and insights based on the knowledge of the talent pool.

Engage the research team, network relationships and other search resources to identify, engage, evaluate and recruit executive level applicants.

Guide businesses throughout the search process, provide consistent communication and incredible client service.

Develop an understanding of each applicant's leadership style, personal background, professional history, and specific fit to the role.
Minimum qualifications
-
8 years of experience in executive search, advising clients on talent and hiring, managing the search process including setting and adjusting search strategy, working with internal or external research teams, and supporting applicants through the interview and offer process.

8 years of experience in hiring executives (e.g. VP+ talent).
-
5 years of experience in the technology sector, in a corporate or executive search firm environment.
Preferred qualifications
-
4 years of experience in recruiting with AI/ML or cloud technologies.

Experience partnering with key stakeholders to deliver high quality search deliverables, including internal executive researchers and external executive search firms.
