About the job
Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.
Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.
As the Product Strategy and Operations Lead for the Chief of Staff Team within Search, you will be pivotal in translating our ambitious product outlook into concrete execution, ensuring operational excellence, and amplifying our core product narrative. You will serve as a critical partner to product leadership, helping to shape product priorities, optimize our operational cadence, and ensure our product strategy is seamlessly integrated across all functions.
In this role, you will use your operational management, problem solving capabilities, and exceptional communication skills. You will be responsible for refining our product story, streamlining cross-functional alignment for product launches, and directing leadership focus to the highest-leverage product opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on a high-visibility team, contributing directly to the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of Google Search.
In Google Search, we're reimagining what it means to search for information – any way and anywhere. To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. In joining the Search team, you'll have an opportunity to make an impact on billions of people globally.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.
