As a Product Manager on YouTube Music's Generative AI team, you’ll oversee the development, integration, and launch of YouTube’s generative music experiences used by viewers and creators across the portfolio of YouTube’s products. This is a unique opportunity to have an impact on billions of users across multiple YouTube products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
-
Launch new generative AI products and features, evaluate and test their performance, and iterate quickly.

Work collaboratively with engineering, UX, research, marketing, legal, privacy, Trust & Safety, and other teams on defining and executing cutting edge technologies.

Define the metrics to measure generative AI tools’ performance and quality in production and collaborate with partner teams to come up with a shared understanding of success metrics.

Partner with teams across YouTube and Google to define new use cases and innovations for new experiences that help viewers and creators engage with music.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
-
5 years of experience in consumer product management or related technical role.
-
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch working with UX and UXR to define user-facing product requirements.

Experience with AI/ML models and evaluations.
Preferred qualifications
-
Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
-
3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
-
3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
-
2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
-
2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
-
1 year of experience in technical leadership.
