As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects and ensure operational stability within third-party data centers.

• Lead technical projects, which includes developing project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, as well as managing project execution to ensure timely delivery and quality.

• Collect and analyze operational data, including incident reports and system performance metrics, to identify trends and drive process improvements.

• Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor system health, identify optimization opportunities, and make data-backed recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in technical program management or engineering operations within infrastructure environments.

• 5 years of experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), Industrial Controls (SCADA), or HVAC/Electrical distribution systems.

• Experience managing cross-functional infrastructure programs, including risk assessment and roadmap planning.

Preferred qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.

• Experience in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis or corrective action for BMS and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) related issues.
