This Associate will play a key role within the APAC ex Japan Asset Management (AM) Marketing team, working to execute on channel marketing initiatives and broader team projects.
The Associate will work alongside a senior regional marketer on commercial priorities and go-to-market plans for various channels and the broader global marketing team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing implementation: Support the execution of strategic marketing plans to build awareness and affinity for AM’s investment capabilities.
- Launches and campaigns: Support the development and implementation of marketing plans around new product/fund launches, and client conferences. Partner with AM Marketing colleagues to deliver well thought-out, impactful and quantifiable marketing campaigns, leveraging a range of channels and tactics to maximize effectiveness.
- Partnership marketing: Work with senior marketer / marketing head on initiatives related regional partners. This can encompass pitch decks, marketing collateral development and campaign ideation for partners
- Events / webinars: Support flagship, sponsored events and webinars from invite, on-site management to post-event communications
- Digital marketing: Assist in the preparation of digital elements for various priorities in partnership with regional / global AM Marketing members – product and/or asset class webpages, campaign webpages, social media
- Risk management: Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and procedural guidelines for all marketing communications
- Team connectivity: Take an active role in the AM Marketing team, adopting a collaborative approach, sharing best practices, being involved in programs outside primary region as relevant, and contributing to the team's overall success.
- Partnership and collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships within AM Marketing other AM Marketing colleagues.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong interest in marketing and communications with 3-5 years in a similar role within a similar leading financial institution.
- Good working knowledge of financial and investment concepts
- Some knowledge of the asset management industry: clients, products, regulations, competitors
- An understanding of all marketing media including digital, social, and print collateral
- Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure, while maintaining extremely high standards
- Strong communication skills and ability to navigate complex organization
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
